Your responsibilities as Commercial Manager
Leading fee and contract discussions with local authorities
Building financial models that actually get used
Turning numbers into clear, persuasive commercial cases
Working closely with Ops, Finance, and senior leadership
Spotting risks early and doing something about them
What we’re looking for in a Commercial Manager
Previous experience in pricing, commercial finance, or contract management
Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
Experience negotiating contracts within regulated or public sector environments
Understanding of frameworks, commissioning, or service-based contracts
Ability to present commercial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
