Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a MARAC Co-ordinator to join the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Community Safety Team for a 14-week temporary assignment. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact by coordinating vital support for high-risk domestic abuse cases through the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process. What You’ll Do: • Act as the first point of contact for professional bodies involved in the MARAC process. • Administer and co-ordinate MARAC meetings in accordance with operating protocols. • Develop and maintain documentation, including referral forms, templates, and meeting minutes. • Create and manage tracking systems for MARAC cases, actions, and recommendations. • Co-ordinate target hardening services for victims of domestic abuse, ensuring timely support and safety measures. • Produce accurate performance management reports and disseminate relevant data to partner agencies, including the Home Office, Welsh Government, and Police and Crime Commissioner. • Ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation, confidentiality standards, and Council policies. • Support the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) agenda within the Vale of Glamorgan. What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in administrative coordination, preferably within community safety, housing, or social care. • Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail. • Knowledge of data protection, safeguarding, and information-sharing protocols. • Confidence in working with multi-agency partners and handling sensitive information. • Ability to prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced, confidential environment. • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Essential Requirements: • Eligibility to work in the UK. • Enhanced DBS check and Confidentiality Agreement. • 2 years of references/work history. • Commitment to equality, health and safety, and safeguarding principles.
