We are looking for an Assistant to join our Accounting, Insight & Advisory team in Leeds to assist Team Members in providing efficient and effective accountancy services to a range of clients, while promoting the firm at all times.

You’ll make an impact by:

1. Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts under supervision to required standard to ensure files are prepared and documented with sufficient evidence for review
2. Preparing and reviewing of VAT returns
3. Carrying out general bookkeeping for clients, including processing of data on Sage and Xero software
4. Recognising when information provided by the client is incomplete and inaccurate and take steps to rectify this

What we are looking for:

5. AAT qualified (or nearly qualified) / ACA part qualified (or equivalent)
6. A minimum of 5 GCSEs at A-C grade (or equivalent), including B in Maths and English
7. Able to work as part of a team as well as working independently
8. Work experience gained in a client or customer facing environment would be advantageous
