Quantity Surveyor • London & Southeast • Planned Maintenance / Social Housing • Salary: Competitive + Benefits + Career Progression.
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make an impact in the social housing and planned maintenance sector? We’re looking for a commercially minded professional to join a leading contractor delivering essential planned works across London and the Southeast. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering stability, autonomy, and genuine career growth.
Key Responsibilities
 * Managing all commercial and financial aspects of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
 * Preparing and presenting accurate monthly valuations, CVRs, and cost forecasts.
 * Leading procurement and tendering of subcontractors and suppliers for planned works projects.
 * Negotiating subcontract terms and ensuring compliance with JCT contracts.
 * Driving cost control and value improvement, supporting delivery teams to meet financial targets.
Skills & Qualifications
 * Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
 * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or planned maintenance projects in London or the Southeast.
 * Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC/TPC desirable).
 * Excellent commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, variations, and final accounts.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial software such as COINS or C‑Link.
