Salary: £15.65 per hour
Hours: 160 hours per month (Full-Time)
Service: 4-Bed Children's Residential Home (Ages 8-17)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care within a 4-bed children's residential home.
You will play a key role in ensuring the home operates in line with the Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Quality Standards, while creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Lead, supervise, and develop staff to deliver outstanding care
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies
Support care planning and positive outcomes for young people
Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
Oversee operations in the Manager's absence
Requirements
Level 3 in Children & Young People (Essential)
Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 in Leadership & Management
Experience within a children's residential setting
Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills
Good understanding of Ofsted and regulatory requirements xsngvjr
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
