A Legal Counsel is required to join an world-class energy company in Scotland on a permanent basis which is currently looking at expanding its legal services team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who has recently qualified or has qualified with commercial contracts experience looking to move into the energy sector. Our client is happy to consider candidates from either private practice, inhouse or public sector.
As the Legal Counsel you will be;
- Undertaking commercial work on behalf of the company which will include matters such as NDA's, Terms of Business, supply contracts, technical service contracts and confidentiality agreements.
- You will provide legal support to corporate functions such as IT, HR, Accounting and Trade and work collaboratively across these functions with projects as they arise
- Assisting the Regulatory team with updating and writing policies and procedures
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced and collaborative business which has some exciting growth and expansion plans for 2024. You will be supported and mentored by the Senior Legal Counsel and Chief Legal Officer to further develop your commerciality and experience.
Candidates do not necessarily need previous energy experience but a keen interest to work within the sector.
Located in the heart of Edinburgh, you will be working on a hybrid working model with 2/3 days in the office but the client is happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
