Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and have experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining various components. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Duties
* Assemble and fit components according to specifications and technical drawings.
* Install machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in fitting or assembly roles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a workshop or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
