Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of our brand-new clubhouse in Spring 2026. We're seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team through this transition and help define the culinary identity of the venue.
You'll be working alongside a newly appointed Executive Head Chef from January 2026, offering a rare opportunity to shape menus, service style, and kitchen culture from the ground up.
* Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
* Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef on menu development for clubhouse dining, Sunday lunches, weddings, and events
* Recruit, train, and inspire a skilled kitchen team
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance
* Manage stock, suppliers, and budgets with a focus on sustainability and local sourcing
Who we are looking for:-
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a premium hospitality setting
* Strong leadership and team-building skills
* Passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and coastal cuisine
* Experience with weddings, banqueting, and high-volume service
* Creative flair and a collaborative mindset
* Calm under pressure, with excellent organisational skills

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
