Job Description
AGR are working closely with our Aberdeen-based client to recruit a Drilling Supervisors (Day & Night) to join its team on a PAYE basis, for a contract length of 7-8 months working on their 2026 Wells P&A campaign.
About the role:
This role will be responsible for directing and managing the activities of contractors and service providers during offshore well operations and ensures work programmes are followed.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Directs and manages the activities of contractors and service providers during offshore well operations and ensures programmes are executed safely and efficiently, in full compliance with corporate policies, standards, procedures and guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
2. Acts as the focal point for day-to-day communication and reporting between the offshore site and onshore operations teams. Ensures all reporting requirements are met in relation to daily operations, Well Examination Scheme, etc
3. Takes a lead role in technical/operational problem-solving and decision-making processes, identifies changes to programmes, risk assesses changes and obtains change approvals, etc
