Overview

Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative to grow the child mental health workforce. NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post to enable services to employ trainees, implementing new or expanding specialist pathways to bridge gaps in CYP mental health support.

This training year combines formal teaching at Kings College London with a caseload within the South West London and St George\'s CAMHS service line. Upon completion, the postholder will be encouraged to apply for CBT posts within the Trust\'s Deaf CAMHS service line following BABCP accreditation.

Under supervision, the postholder will work within a CBT framework for training cases and support the wider service with additional training-related work.
