The Dental Design Studio opened in 2005 as a centre of dental excellence, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients and their families. From our very first practice, we have focused on delivering high-quality dental treatments in a gentle, efficient, and professional manner.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians.
* Reception duties including answering the phone and greeting patients.
* Deal with patient queries, take payments, and book appointments and follow ups.
* Sterilise and prepare equipment for Dentists.
* Record and manage patient records; support patients’ wellbeing and dental experience.
* Maintain cleanliness of dental areas, including chairs, and manage stock of equipment and supplies.
* Support the Dentists and senior team to provide effective patient care.
* Assist with the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing (City & Guilds) delivered nationwide through blended E-Learning; upon achievement the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3; Functional Skills English & Maths Level 2 qualifications unless exempt.
Position details
* Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Career and qualification information
* With experience you may move into roles such as team manager, team leader, or dental practice manager.
* With further training you could become a dental therapist or dental hygienist; you could also train as an orthodontic therapist.
Additional notes
* This qualification is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds and delivered nationwide through blended interactive e-learning, enabling learners to access the course from anywhere in the UK.
* Upon achievement the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3.
