Responsibilities
* Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair tasks.
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Document work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
* Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
* Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance recognised within the industry.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times.
* Valid UK driving licence is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £37,500.00-£40,500.00 per year
