Operations Controller - Bridgewater

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 17:30pm
Job Purpose
To keep our clients digital division running smoothly by making sure hire records, charges, contracts, and system updates are accurate and up to date. The role involves a mix of admin tasks, customer service, and coordination with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
Handle hire requests (on/off hire) and create hire contracts.
Communicate with customers, fitters, transport, sales, and workshop staff.
Manage contracts, invoices, and stock control.
Build good relationships with customers.
Check equipment availability and keep records accurate.
Raise purchase orders for parts and subcontractors.
Allocate jobs for digital engineers (installations, repairs, maintenance).
Suggest and support improvements to admin processes.

Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment.
Good communication skills and a confident phone manner.
Friendly, positive team player.
Proactive and able to solve problems.
Essential Requirements
Right to work in the UK.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Full driving licence.
Desirable
Experience in plant equipment/plant hire.
Familiarity with Syrinx system (training available).
