Role & Responsibilities
This is a Regional role based in the Midlands with the autonomy to manage your own diary. You will work from home and travel to our sites as well as the occasional visit to our head office in Warrington.
We are looking for someone who has a true passion for People and HR with a desire to support the development and delivery of a people plan that enables a high‑performance culture. You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in a multi‑site environment and adopt a collaborative approach.
In this role you will provide a top‑class HR advisory service to the business. Casework will be managed from cradle to grave, providing exposure and development in upskilling, coaching, workforce planning, employee relations, TUPE and projects.
You will work closely with the wider People team to support company‑wide people initiatives and projects, ensuring the People function operates efficiently, effectively and in line with current legislation.
You will be able to work independently, advising managers day‑to‑day and also as part of a larger team. Managing your own workload, travel will be expected across the operational network and overnight stays will occur as required. Applicants should live in a location with good transport links.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role you will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards it), strong knowledge of employment legislation and current HR practices, and confidence to advise stakeholders at all levels. Ideally you will have extensive experience as an HR generalist who is used to working autonomously and be well‑versed in advising and coaching managers on ER issues. Excellent communication skills are critical to building relationships and influencing key stakeholders.
Logistics & Requirements
Daily duties include independent advice, workload management, and collaboration with a larger team. Travel will be required across the operational network and overnight stays are likely. Applicants should live in a location with good transport links and possess a full UK driving licence.
