An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Automotive Engineer specializing in Electrified Powertrain to join an expanding engineering team at a leading global company. The role focuses on model-based controls engineering within an Autosar environment, utilizing tools such such as Matlab, Simulink, and Davinci.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Engineer and the Engineering Project Manager to ensure the timely delivery of projects, collaborating with the Embedded and Electronics teams. This position offers hybrid working options and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and developing control software, testing, and adherence to ISO26262 standards. Additionally, experience in mentoring within the team is highly desirable.
Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience in controls engineering within the automotive sector.
* Proficiency in inverter and motor controls.
* Expertise in designing, implementing, testing, and debugging embedded software for automotive electronic modules.
* Advanced knowledge of real-time embedded software for 32-bit multicore microcontrollers.
* Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture, including configuration and modification using Vector DaVinci Developer and Configurator.
* Experience in MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL testing.
* Proficiency in communication protocols like SPI, CAN, CANFD, J1939, UDS, and XCP.
* Knowledge of ASPICE.
* Familiarity with ISO26262 is an added advantage.
