Our client, a leading set of chambers, is seeking a Graduate Recruitment Manager to manage HR systems, recruitment processes, and all aspects of pupillage recruitment, training, and support.

The Role of Graduate Recruitment Manager
Reporting to the Director of Operations and Strategic Planning, and supported by Administrators, the postholder will organise chambers’ people systems and project manage the end-to-end pupillage process. You will also collaborate with the Head of Finance on HR compliance and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
HR
Coordinate recruitment processes for barristers, staff and pupils.
Manage correspondence with candidates and agencies, ensuring smooth onboarding and induction.
Maintain accurate HR records, holiday data, and absence monitoring.
Oversee the appraisal process and coordinate learning and development opportunities.
Manage offboarding and exit interviews.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain the HR and LEX systems.
Pupillage
Project manage the full pupillage outreach and recruitment cycle.
Administer BSB forms, contracts, supervisor briefings, and pupil training programmes.
Coordinate the pupil-to-tenancy process and support pupils throughout their training.
Maintain accurate pupillage and diversity monitoring data.
Provide regular updates to the Pupillage Committee Chairs and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
Person Specification
Essential
At least five years’ HR experience, including recruitment and onboarding.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.
Proactive problem solver with strong initiative and evaluation skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
Understanding of data protection, risk and health & safety.
Desirable
Experience managing pupillage recruitment within chambers.
Knowledge of HR databases or case management systems.
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
Mental Health First Aid or wellbeing accreditation.
