The post
To meet increasing demand for Primary Care Systems development from Health Boards, SGHSC and PaCC (Primary & Community Care) operational business, DaS seeks to recruit a Test Analyst with experience of PaCC systems and processes to support the delivery of Business IT services for national IT systems used by NHSScotland.
The candidate
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to contribute to the provision of Testing and BAU services within Business IT to support system development, enhancement and maintenance across NHSScotland. The post holder will contribute to systems to enable enhancement and access to electronic data for health professionals.
Requirements and skills
You will have excellent software testing, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as a member of the Business IT department liaising with customers, stakeholders, health professionals in NSS and NHS boards as well as suppliers involved across the development lifecycle of systems. You will have knowledge and experience of the PaCC payment and processing systems to underpin all test activities. You should also demonstrate excellent organisational and decision-making skills, with a high degree of accuracy while working within a team of specialist test analysts. You will have experience of working on large-scale national IT systems developments and maintaining BAU services. You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with proven track record in software testing and delivering across the systems development lifecycle. You should be able to work across multiple projects with different priorities, managing conflicting demands.
Location and working pattern
This is a full-time position with a flexible location at Gyle Square, Edinburgh; Delta House, Glasgow; or Marischal Square, Broad Street, Aberdeen AB10 1AB. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
It is a condition of employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
