We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Warrington.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the commercial and contractual performance of our civil engineering projects from tender through to final account.
The Role
You will work closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects
* Supporting project teams on all commercial matters
* Administering contracts in line with company procedures
* Managing subcontract procurement, payments, and final accounts
* Preparing applications for payment, variations, and cost reports
* Identifying and managing risks, claims, and opportunities
* Attending site and progress meetings
* Supporting tender and pre-construction activities where required
About You
* Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or construction
* Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
* Commercially aware, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
* Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
* Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
* Experience managing projects through to final account
* Knowledge of UK construction practices and standards
* Full UK driving licence
