Our Story:

The Bridge Easton School is a complex needs school which opened in Easton, Norfolk in January 2023. The school has been on a growth plan and our final increase is this September. The school provides education for 187 children and young people with severe cognition and learning difficulties, and autism. As a school, we work with our pupils, their families and other professionals within education, health, and care to support our children and young people to have a successful journey through their education. In addition to the main school, we offer our Base provision where classes offer a bespoke education to children and young people with very high complex needs and autism who require a smaller class environment and often a 1-2-1 staff ratio.

The Bridge Trust:

The Bridge Easton is part of family of schools ran by the Bridge Trust. The Bridge Trust already oversees the work of five special schools, two mainstream primary schools, an outreach service and a training development centre.

We are recruiting for:

* Lead Special Needs Professionals – To support the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum and preparation of resources. To work with pupils, meeting their needs, helping develop their emotional, social and academic skills. To support colleagues and work as a team. To lead the class in the teacher's absence. We currently have a two LSNP vacancies within The Base, and primary.

The Bridge Easton School is situated on a beautiful site in the village of Easton in Norfolk. The purpose-built school opened in January 2023. The school has modern spacious classrooms, specialist therapy rooms, extensive outdoor space including a Multi Surface Sports Area and individual outside spaces for all primary classes.

The Bridge Easton is a special school for children with complex needs and/or autism. Our provision offers an education to children from reception through to Year 13. Children attending the school all have an Education, Health and Care Plan identifying their needs. As a school we work with children, their families and other professionals within education, health and care to support a successful journey through school, with the shared aim for an appropriate transition into a fulfilling and active adult life.

The Bridge Easton School provides a truly nurturing environment; our priority is to meet the individual needs of each child, supporting children to be kind, confident and independent young people. We offer our children and young people a bespoke curriculum and package of care, minimising their barriers to learning and optimising opportunities for success and progress.

We aim to create a school environment in which our young people and their families are central to our school community, our ethos keeps pupil wellbeing at the heart of all we do. We work in partnership with our wider community to offer additional learning experiences enhancing the learning in the classroom, broadening opportunities for our young people.
