In line with our Internal Mobility Policy, we’d like to make you aware that a preferred candidate has been identified for this opportunity We’re looking for a Learning and Development Principal to join our Compliance team at Co-op Legal Services (CLS) in Stratford-upon-Avon. The legal services industry is always changing, and we need to keep our colleagues up to date with the latest rules and regulations. That’s where you come in. You’ll help to improve the quality and consistency of our legal work by providing clear and timely training, coaching, and support to colleagues across all CLS locations, teams, and experience levels. What you’ll do Create an annual training plan that meets the learning needs of CLS colleagues Work closely with our Practice Leads to design and develop clear, engaging training materials Lead training sessions, both online and in person, and design various induction and e-learning modules for colleagues across the wider Co-op Manage the CLS training budget and make sure it’s used effectively Support apprentices and trainee solicitors through mentoring and coaching Build strong relationships with 3rd part training suppliers Develop and maintain an awareness of the latest legal services regulations and compliance standards This role would suit people who have A Solicitor qualification Significant experience working in a legal practice A track record of creating and delivering effective training sessions Good communication skills, with the ability to make complex legal topics easy to understand Why Co-op?
