Leading Health and Beauty Retail Chain
Hybrid | HQ in Ascot | Travel ~50%
£65,000–£75,000 basic + Car + Fuel Card + Benefits
Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start (flexible)
We’re partnering with one of the UK’s leading retailers to find a standout Estates Manager — someone who thrives on taking ownership and shaping a high-performing, ever-evolving store estate.
With hundreds of thriving stores across the UK & Ireland — and an ambitious roadmap for growth — this role is central to how the business manages its footprint, enhances store environments, and drives long-term value.
If you’ve got multi-site retail property experience and are ready to step into a high-autonomy role where your decisions make a real impact, this is it.
The Role
This is a hands-on and strategic estates role, giving you full control of the UK&I property portfolio:
* Lead the end-to-end estate strategy: acquisitions, refurbishments, relocations, and closures
* Take charge of lease negotiations, rent reviews, renewals, and terms with landlords and agents
* Manage supplier and contractor relationships across FM, compliance, and professional services
* Lead a small, skilled team including Maintenance and Store Design
* Oversee all aspects of facilities: service charges, business rates, utilities, and cost control
* Support the delivery of in-store improvements with minimal disruption to trading
* Ensure property data is accurate, reliable, and supports better planning
* Expect to travel across the estate 2–3 days per week
What You’ll Need
* Strong background managing a retail estate or multi-site property portfolio from a retail business or similar
* In-depth lease negotiation experience with a solid grasp of commercial property terms
* Proven leadership in facilities, suppliers, and contractor performance
* Financially astute — confident spotting inefficiencies and identifying savings
* Clear communicator — able to influence at senior level and manage multiple stakeholders
* Proactive, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, consumer-facing environment
The Package
* £65,000–£75,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
* Company car + fuel card
* Hybrid working – Ascot HQ when not travelling
* Great benefits package – pension, healthcare, generous holiday allowance
* Excellent progression opportunities in a growing, high-profile retailer
