Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead and motivate a site team to ensure day to day delivery of our programme, organising resource, plant and materials to deliver the works and undertake site management duties when required. You will be expected to set standards and act as a mentor to our less experienced team members.
You will need to be positive, enthusiastic and solution focused, great at building and maintaining relationships and comfortable giving honest feedback. Technically you will have excellent Civil Engineering skills and experience in earthworks, drainage, structures and concreting as well as a sound understanding of safety expectations.

Due to the nature of our business, there is the potential to work weekends with our Rail division where enhanced weekend rates of pay are on offer.

* Proven track record as a fully competent and experienced civil engineering operative
* Experience in supervising teams and operatives to required standards
