As a Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of managing and running the care home to support staff members and meet the welfare of residents. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff management, occupancy, marketing, and recruitment. You will promote a caring environment that provides residents with a high standard of personal care, meeting individual needs, and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity, with rights to privacy, independence, and choice upheld.
Daily Duties:
1. Marketing and promoting the home to maintain and enhance the reputation of the brand within the area.
2. Increasing occupancy and achieving commercial targets.
3. Building and strengthening links within the community through engagement.
4. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
5. Maintaining health and safety and fire safety standards.
6. Completing staff supervisions and appraisals to deliver person-centred care.
7. Overseeing key areas within the home such as front of house, catering, and housekeeping.
