You will be part of a small team connecting and coordinating 63 Sport Welfare Officers nationwide, ensuring they have the necessary tools, support, and relationships to succeed.
Responsibilities include gathering insights, supporting daily operations, developing inclusive resources, and serving as a reliable contact point—contributing to long-term cultural change in sport.

* Build positive relationships with Sport Welfare Officers and stakeholders like Sport England, CPSU, and ACT, fostering trust and collaboration.
* Review evaluation submissions, extract key insights, and inform future activities.
* Create internal reports to help programme leads understand progress and support needs.
* Coordinate project activities, including meetings, events, and logistics.
* Assist with large-scale events in partnership with the communications team.
* Support development of tools, templates, and guidance to improve safeguarding practices.
* Ensure communications are inclusive, practical, and community-sensitive.
* Maintain good administrative and communication practices to manage tasks and timelines.
* Travel approximately once or twice a month for regional and national events, with occasional overnight stays.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong interpersonal skills—rapport-building, listening, and sensitive communication.
* Excellent organization—managing time and tasks independently in a remote setting.
* Openness and teamwork—valuing diverse perspectives and co-creating solutions.
* Effective written communication—clear, friendly, adaptable to audiences.
* Ability to identify themes in feedback to inform decisions.
* Basic understanding of safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing principles.
