RPS are currently working in conjunction with a global aerospace manufacturer who are looking for a CNC Machinist to join them following a period of growth within the business.
CNC Machinist Requirements:
1. Experience with Milling & Turning (Milling bias highly desirable)
2. Must be self-sufficient & able to Programme, Set and Operate multiple machine tools (bias towards Mazatrol controls preferred)
3. Demonstrable (3yrs+) experience in an aerospace or other highly regulated production environment preferred
4. Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
5. Programming, setting and operating using Mazak machine tools & controls working with a variety of aerospace super alloys
6. Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation
7. Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department
8. Support quick turnaround innovation tasks
9. Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross- training within department
10. Further opportunities exist to expand skills in CNC grinding
