We are now seeking an experienced Workforce Scheduling Controller to join us on a permanent basis at our Redditch office.
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a shift pattern including every weekend.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role will be within our Central Operations Planning team, covering multiple clients. You’ll receive work orders via various systems, manage and schedule engineers through our scheduling system in accordance with SLAs and KPIs. You’ll liaise between field engineers and client premises, ensuring the correct skilled engineer is allocated based on store requirements, engineer location, and job priority.
You’ll be proactive and solution-focused, handling diverse requirements—from urgent power cuts needing an engineer within 2 hours to reactive maintenance scheduled within 720 hours, and legislative work against critical KPIs.
It is essential that you are SLA/KPI driven, resilient, tenacious, and confident when dealing with engineers. You should manage challenges effectively and persuade with ease to achieve the best solutions for customers.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have extensive scheduling knowledge and the ability to work independently. You should possess excellent administrative and time management skills, gained in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment, with adaptability to change. A passion for continuous improvement and process optimization is essential.
Your key stakeholders will include Field Operational Managers, Engineers, clients, and Helpdesk colleagues. Your team will consist of Schedulers, Senior Customer Support colleagues, Team Managers, and Operations Managers.
This role involves working 40 hours per week, from 7 am to 7 pm, across 7 days, requiring flexibility.
Experience in any industry sector is acceptable, provided you can quickly learn new processes within Facilities Management and are confident and adaptable with technology solutions.
