A well established leading UK manufacturer of drainage products is looking for an Injection Mould Setter to join its team based in Yaxley. We are seeking a skilled plastics injection mould setter who will be responsible for the setup, operation, and optimisation of injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. You will be working a weekend shift: 06.00 – 18.00 Friday / Saturday / Sunday. As the Injection Mould Setter you will: Set up, adjust, and maintain plastics manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance. Monitor & Troubleshoot machine processes to minimise downtime. Conduct tooling changes safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. We are looking for an Injection Mould Setter with the following experience / qualifications: Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment as well as setting experience. Ability to change tools and keep machines running at their optimum capacity. Able to calibrate master batch units in accordance with setting sheets. Able to monitor machine performance against calculated timing and quality standards and to act promptly to production problems to ensure minimal reject level. Good communication skills at all levels to be able to liaise with operators, Supervisors and Production Managers with regards to production requirements. Reasonable level of computer literacy to key scrap quantities, downtime reasons and other information into our ERP system. Good numeracy skills and an ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, with a good standard of written and spoken English.
