Overview
Pharmacy Practice Manager role reporting to the Area Manager. A hybrid of patient care and commercial focus, requiring a strong leader with a passion for healthcare, patients and driving a profitable business. Responsible for delivering all pharmacy-related targets and deadlines and for managing the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues to support Asda Pharmacy in becoming best in class.

Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and high levels of patient safety.
* Take direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums, maintaining high standards of professional customer service and compliance within GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
* Deliver all pharmacy-related targets and deadlines; manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues; collaborate with in-store, regional and home office teams for clinical or service queries.
* Balance the role of line manager and pharmacist to ensure safe, effective operations and staff development.
* Inspire and motivate the team to achieve defined KRAs and deliver results.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local NHS and private healthcare services.
* Experience in balancing line management with pharmacy responsibilities to deliver safe working practices.
* Ability to manage challenging situations while maintaining strong connections with store and field teams.
Requirements & Compliance
* GPhC registration; evidence of right to work in the UK; relevant safeguarding qualifications.
* DBS check and enrollment in the DBS update service; provide documentation to verify qualifications and identity if successful.
Rota & Schedule
* Rota: 38.5 hours; Saturday 9am-8pm; Monday 9am-8pm; Tuesday 11am-8pm; Friday 9am-8pm.
