We’re seeking a Production Controller to join our print team ensuring print projects are delivered on time, to budget, to the highest standards alongside aligning with our wider sustainability and accessibility objectives. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll oversee the printing of collateral for our key programming campaigns eg. Easter, Blossom, Summer of Play alongside a variety of other print supporting our directorate and the wider Trust. Supported by your immediate team, you will liaise with stakeholders at all levels and manage relationships with our approved suppliers. As we move to new ways of working we would look for you to support knowledge sharing and development with other directorates and our regional teams.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Print Manager, this role sits within the Planning and Production team in the Commercial and Fundraising Directorate. We are print production specialists who are experts in our field, working with a number of stakeholders ensuring high quality, sustainable and audience-led print projects are delivered on time within often very tight budgets. You’ll be managing the day-to-day delivery of print for the Trust.
Who we're looking for
For this position we're looking for someone who has;
1. A good knowledge of artwork supply, proofing, print and finishing processes with excellent attention to detail.
2. Good track record and experience of handling and delivering multiple projects.
3. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to build relationships and experience of working to deadlines.
4. Previous experience with budget management.
5. Good knowledge of estimating projects from design through to the end product.
6. Ability to work as part of a team sharing learning and ideas.
7. Experience of working within a Project Management system (e.g. Workfront).
8. Ability to add process to promote a self-serve model for internal clients.
