About the Role We're recruiting for a Security Systems Technical Support Engineer to join the MiTec team based in Lurgan. This role provides critical support to customers and field engineers, helping to resolve issues remotely and ensure the efficient operation of fire and security systems. You'll work alongside our Customer Services and Scheduling departments, reducing the number of calls requiring field attendance through remote diagnostics and expert advice. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to end users and engineers, both internally and externally Deliver first-line support and attempt remote resolution before escalation to field engineers Use remote diagnostic tools to resolve fire and security-related issues Prioritise workload to meet contractual deadlines and service level agreements Provide accurate information to scheduling and customer teams Support the Service Scheduling Team when required Maintain high standards of customer service and communication Essential Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience across multiple disciplines, including Intruder, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Excellent telephone manner and customer focus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment General product knowledge of fire systems Network/IP-based product experience Team player with a proactive attitude Desirable Experience UDL software experience across Galaxy, ATS, and Intruder Alarm Panels Familiarity with Cash4Windows Experience with enterprise-level CCTV systems (e.g. Cathexis) Experience with enterprise-level Access Control systems and remote programming Strong understanding of IP/network infrastructure Skills: UDL software experience across Galaxy ATS and Intruder Alarm Panels Cash4Windows
