Job Description
3. Develop and maintain robust financial models to meet regulatory requirements.
4. Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data and provide insights.
7. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
8. Identify opportunities for improving financial modelling processes and tools.
9. Provide technical support and training to team members on financial modelling best practices.
10. Stay updated on developments in the energy & natural resources industry to ensure models remain relevant.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Regulatory Financial Modelling Lead should have:
11. A strong background in Accounting & Finance with expertise in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel.
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. The ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
14. Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
15. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
17. ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
18. Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the energy & natural resources industry (desirable, not essential).
