Academics is currently partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton, seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
Role Details
* Location: Primary School, Sutton
* Start Date: September
* Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one support for a nursery child with SEN, such as Autism and ADHD
* Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies
* Contribute to creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support pupil progress
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting
* A committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach
