Tempus Training is a leading, Ofsted Grade 1, Independent Training Provider, delivering programmes of learning across the UK through a range of Government funded contracts. Currently delivering over 600 courses per month, we support thousands of learners to gain the skills and qualifications to develop their careers and improve their lives.
As our Learner Engagement Officer, you will be the vital link between our transformative training programs and the individuals who need them most. You will play a pivotal role in changing lives by working with key referral partners, such as local authorities, Jobcentres and employment partnership groups, to proactively identify and engage new learners.
This is an opportunity to use your networking and communication skills to give people the chance to upskill or re-skill, directly contributing to their journey towards sustainable employment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with external organisations and key referral partners, including Jobcentres and community groups.
Outreach and Engagement: Proactively identify new work opportunities and engage with local employment groups to promote our diverse service offerings.
Sales and Marketing Follow-up: Skilfully manage and follow up on inquiries via telephone and email, highlighting the benefits and eligibility criteria of our wide range of programs.
Learner Assessment: Interview and assess potential learners, providing strong Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to ensure they are matched with the most suitable course.
Administration & Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our CRM system and liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth learner journey.
Performance & Targets: Consistently achieve monthly targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for program starts and learner placements.

Key Administrator Skills & Experience
A valid UK driving license to attend events and meetings.
Experience working effectively in a target-driven environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google package.
Excellent telephone manner and strong administrative skills.
Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organised.
Prior experience in sales, customer service, account management, or recruitment.
Experience working with CRM systems.
