Responsibilities
* Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
* Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
* Provide patient/family centered care using the nursing process and focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience: Labor and Delivery experience required.
* Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse required. Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
* Licensure/Certifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association required. Some positions require ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Stroke Scale Certification, and Crisis Prevention training.

* Shift differentials: Monday-Thursday 3p–11p ($4.50/hr), 11p–7a ($4.75/hr); Friday-Sunday 11p–7a ($7.00/hr) or Saturday–Sunday 7a–3p ($6.00/hr) and 3p–11p ($6.50/hr) (requires 4 hours of shift time to qualify).
