We are seeking a dedicated Infant Feeding Specialist to join our maternity and neonatal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on infant health and parental wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice to parents and carers on infant feeding
* Support the Lead Infant feeding specialist on the implementation of Baby Friendly Initiative standards
* Deliver staff training and education to promote consistent, evidence-based feeding support
* Work collaboratively with midwives, health visitors, neonatal staff, and community teams
* Support audits, data collection, and service development to improve infant feeding outcomes
* Deputise for the band 7 in their absence and provide clinical skills within educational and clinical areas
Qualifications and requirements
* Knowledge in infant feeding
* Commitment to promoting responsive feeding practices
* Willingness to work within a maternity and neonatal team and support service development
