An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Care Home Review Team at Brooksby Medical & Resource Centre, Largs. We are seeking a permanent, part-time qualified Social Worker with experience in assessments, reviews, devising interventions, and managing risk. An understanding of current pressures in the Health and Social Care sector is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The role requires working in a multidisciplinary setting, consulting with service users and their representatives to promote their needs and rights within policy and legislative frameworks. PVG (Adults)
This role involves regulated work with Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. It is an offence to apply if barred from working with protected adults.
Preferred candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost (£59 or £18) will be deducted from your salary. More information is available at Disclose Scotland.
If successful, your name and email will be entered into the Disclosure Scotland PVG system to generate your PVG form, which will be sent via email.
