Are you ready to take on an exciting role within our Place Shaping Team? As an Estates Operative Cleaner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive, efficient, and proactive cleaning service across Freebridge Community Housing estates throughout the borough. Your role will include conducting health and safety checks, collaborating with tenancy colleagues to contribute information on tenancy breaches, and assisting in combating anti-social behaviour (ASB). About Freebridge Community Housing
Our Freebridge Community Housing goal is to provide affordable, safe, and quality homes for current and future generations, for those who need a place to call home. Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk's housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across west and north Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. We\'ve had numerous achievements, including delivering our tenants\' promises and bringing homes to the Decent Homes Standard, affording our customers a much better quality of living. What you\'ll be doing
* Cleaning Services: Provide quality cleaning throughout communal areas on Freebridge Community Housing estates, including the safe handling and cleaning of biohazard materials.
* Record Keeping: Record all activities and conduct pre and post work inspections.
* Hazard Management: Ensure communal areas are clear of hazards like fly-tipping, pushchairs, and bicycles.
* Property Monitoring: Identify and report abandoned properties.
* Coordination: Liaise with the Assistant Place Shaping Manager for any schedule changes.
* Repair Reporting: Report necessary repairs in communal areas or tenant properties.
* Security: Ensure door entry systems are operational and report faults promptly.
* Anti-Social Behaviour: Report and record any ASB incidents and support tenancy colleagues.
* Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.
* Additional Tasks: Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed.
* Requirements: Minimum of 3 GCSE passes or equivalent (including Math and English).
* Qualifications: An understanding of the needs of social housing customers and a commitment to providing a professional service.
* Skills: The ability to deal effectively and non-prejudicially with a range of customers, as well as to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
* Physical: Must be capable of performing tasks that involve heavy lifting.
* Licensing: A full driving License.
