We're looking for a Metering Supervisor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Redruth Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button. Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed term contract until end of March 2026
Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.
As a Metering Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities on the schemes within the Redruth area, to achieve profit and service objectives through effective client relationship management, customer-focused service delivery, safe working practices and staff leadership.
You will manage reinstatement issues to include defects, subcontractors, invoice and quality audits.
Working with the planning team, managing the weekly planning of productivity, resource, materials and delivery of live schemes to ensure the most efficient use of resources
Ensure the workforce are compliant with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
This role of Metering Supervisor is great for you if you hold:
The following tickets- NRSWA supervisor, SMSTS/ SSSTS/ IOSH training, EUSR Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, Safe Control of Mains Connections & Cable Avoidance Training
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Water Hygiene Regulations
Experience within the water industry and good working knowledge of the design process for potable mains rehabilitation and Developer Services works
Full driving licence
