Are you an active, reliable, and patient male support worker looking for a rewarding role?
We’re seeking a dedicated Male Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a 15-year-old young person with ASD and ADHD in a residential setting.
He enjoys walking, biking, and outdoor activities, so we’re looking for someone who can engage him with confidence, humour, and positive energy.
Role Responsibilities:

Provide consistent emotional and practical support to a young male in care.
*
Engage him in outdoor activities such as walking and biking.
*
Encourage independence, structure, and positive routines.
*
Support with daily living tasks and personal care.
*
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in line with the support plan.
*
Complete accurate reports and timesheets (including hours and location).
*
Work long day shifts (e.g. 8am–10pm) and waking nights (10pm–8am) as part of a rota.
Requirements:
*
Male applicants only (due to the personal care needs of the young person).
*
Experience supporting young people with ASD/ADHD.
*
Confident managing challenging behaviour.
*
Clear English communication skills.
*
Reliable, patient, and able to stay alert on night shifts.
*
Physically fit and happy to be active and outdoors.
*
Willingness to undertake PAS / Positive Behaviour Support training.
*
Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred).
