Behaviour Mentor – Alternative Provision – Stockport

Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £90 – £105 per day
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to support young people in a secondary Alternative Provision in Stockport. The provision supports KS3 and KS4 pupils who are at risk of permanent exclusion or transitioning from mainstream settings.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with challenging behaviour
* Help pupils re-engage with learning through positive relationships and routines
* Work closely with pastoral staff and the SENCO to implement behavioural strategies
* Record incidents and contribute to review meetings
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience working in SEMH, PRU, youth work or inclusion settings
* Strong behaviour management, empathy and consistency
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
