Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Berwick-upon-Tweed
Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland
Pay: £90–£110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

This secondary school in Berwick-upon-Tweed is looking for a caring, proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with pupils who need a little extra guidance—whether that’s academic support, emotional reassurance, or just someone to believe in them.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups, in and out of class
* Helping learners stay engaged, focused, and confident
* Working with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to meet individual needs
* Being a trusted adult pupils can count on

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
