Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Health Doctor located in Preston. The Occupational Health Doctor will be responsible for conducting pre-employment and safety-critical medicals, health surveillance (including HAVS, audiometry, and spirometry), management referrals, and return-to-work assessments. The role also involves providing guidance on adjustments and performing drug and alcohol testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
* GMC registration
* DOCCMED Diploma/Occupational Medicine Training
* Experience in performing pre-employment and safety-critical medicals
* Skills in health surveillance procedures (HAVS, audiometry, spirometry)
* Ability to conduct management referrals and return-to-work assessments
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working in occupational health settings is an advantage
* Ability to work efficiently and independently in an on-site environment
