Job Description
3. Processing purchase invoices and matching them with purchase orders
4. Managing supplier queries and building strong relationships with suppliers
5. Reconciling supplier statements
6. Maintaining the purchase ledger
7. Assisting with month-end close procedures
8. Preparing payment runs and managing petty cash
9. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
10. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes
12. Proficiency in accountancy software
13. Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving
15. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
16. An ability to work effectively as part of a team
