Wellcomeis a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leadingpolicyand advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.

We plan to spend £16bn over the ten years to 2032, funding new discoveries in life, health and wellbeing and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health.

We are looking for aMarketing Manager to join theCommunications andMarketingteam inWellcomeCollection.

WellcomeCollection is a free museum and libraryin Euston, London,exploring health and human experiencethrough exhibitions, events, collections, books and online.

Where inWellcomewill I be working?

You will jointheCommunications and Marketing team atWellcomeCollection, reporting to the Marketing Lead. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation, including teams in Curatorial, Live Programme, Digital Engagement, and Visitor Experience, as well asWellcome’scentral CommunicationsandCreativeteams, to deliver integrated and impactful marketing activity.

What will I be doing?

As a Marketing Manager you will plan,deviseand deliver audience-first, multi-channelmarketing campaigns that promoteWellcomeCollection’s public programme and vision and mission, buildingWellcomeCollection andWellcome’sbrand, influence, reach and reputation.

As aMarketingManageryou will:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, aligning activity to organisational priorities and audience insight.

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, working with Communications colleagues and external agencies to deliver integrated activity across paid, owned and earned channels.

  • Collaborate across Wellcome Collection to embed marketing early in programme development, ensuring campaigns are clearly articulated and set up for success.

  • Champion best-in-class use of digital advertising and paid media, including a robust approach to first- and third-party data.

  • Manage campaign budgets and resources, making informed decisions to maximise impact and deliver against targets.

  • Brief and oversee the development of accessible, high-quality, brand-compliant campaign assets, taking a digital-first, video-led approach.

    MinimumCriteria:

  • Experienced marketing professional with a proventrack recordof developing creative, insight-led campaigns that engage target audiences effectively.

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including budget oversight, planning, and delivery to deadlines.

  • Strong experience commissioning and collaborating with a wide range of external suppliers, agencies, and partners to achieve marketingobjectives.

  • Passionate about the cultural sector, with a commitment to inclusive practices and increasing representation and engagement among diverse audiences.

    Our Hybrid Way of Working

    We understand that our colleagues have commitments and personal interests outside of work and we strive to build a flexible working environment, in which people can perform at their best. We are currently working 3 days per week (Tuesday,Wednesdayand Thursday) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
