Business Development Manager – Electrical Sector, South West England
Salary: £40K‑£50K OTE (including basic, bonus and car). Benefits include pension, health insurance, critical illness cover and life assurance.
Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager, you will plan your diary and visit customers within your defined territory, promoting and selling electrical, lighting, power distribution, factory automation and process automation solutions across a wide range of industries. You will identify opportunities, engage decision makers, develop relationships and close sales. You will utilise the company’s extensive supplier product range and support from marketing, technical and training resources.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated sales career history and success in industrial electrical market or related sectors.
* Strong time management, organisation and communication skills (verbal and written).
* Self‑motivated with a "can‑do" attitude.
* Commercial acumen and technical ability – ideally Industrial Electrical/Control and Automation knowledge.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365.
* Customer‑focused.
* Full UK driving licence.
* UK residence and eligible to work in the UK; no sponsorship.
Location
Based in the South West England (Bristol, Swindon, Bath, Salisbury, Bridgewater, Cheltenham or any South West postcode). Remote home‑base support will be provided.
