Stirling Council Advice Services is an accredited provider of welfare benefits, money, and debt advice under the Scottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers. The service is also a key provider of digital inclusion advice and support in the Stirling area.
We are recruiting for 1 full-time (35 hours) and 1 part-time (17.5 hours) Income Maximisation and Budgeting Adviser to work alongside our existing GP Outreach Adviser and the wider Advice Team. The Advisers will be based in GP Practices across Stirling and will provide advice and support to residents by: completing benefit checks; supporting clients to maximise their income through welfare benefits and charitable grants; and advising on household budget management. These posts are funded for 1 year and report to the Senior Money, Debt & Benefit Adviser.
