Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Utilities. Location: Remote (with travel to client sites/offices within the South East 4-5 times per month). Salary & Package: £65,000 - £80,000 + car/travel allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays.
I'm working with a leading energy and infrastructure business delivering large-scale programmes across the UK. They are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor's first project will be focused around the roll out of a high volume/low value upgrade programme for a major utilities provider in the South East. Responsibilities
* Full commercial and cost management of a multi-year utilities programme.
* Administration of NEC contracts.
* Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and management.
* Forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
* Working collaboratively with clients and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
* Acting as the \'go to\' person for all commercial and contractual matters across the business (NEC).
About You
* Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in utilities, infrastructure, or energy projects.
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Skilled in cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
* Confident working in a client-facing role.
* Flexible to travel to sites and offices on the South Coast and Hertfordshire.
