Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Adviser – Join Hadfab ️
About Hadfab
Hadfab is a growing, family-run steel fabrication company operating in a specialist sector with strong, long-term contracts. As we continue to expand our site and operations, we’re looking for an HSE Adviser to help drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
The Role
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you’ll play a key role in reducing risk, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across our workshops, yards, and sites.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be visible on the shop floor, supporting teams and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across site ️
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and internal training
* Support risk assessments, COSHH, and PPE management ️
* Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
* Maintain HSE systems and records (including Mango QHSE)
* Assist with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 compliance
* Support wellbeing initiatives, including Mental Health awareness
* Work closely with teams, contractors, and management
What We’re Looking For
* NEBOSH National General Certificate
* At least 3 years’ experience in an HSE role (ideally in manufacturing/engineering)
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Organised, analytical, and a strong team player
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 / 45001 (desirable)
