Job Description
The successful HSE Advisor will:
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
4. Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
5. Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE policies and procedures.
6. Supply reports to the senior leadership team.
7. Develop and maintain risk assessments and method statements for ongoing projects.
8. Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
9. Collaborate with project teams to implement safety measures effectively.
10. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets legal and organisational requirements.
11. Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices.
12. Be site based in Newmarket the majority of the time.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Advisor should have:
13. Relevant qualifications in health, safety, or environmental management.
14. Experience in the construction sector within the property industry.
15. Previous experience of high-value, complex projects.
16. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
17. Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
18. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
