Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing breakfast kitchen operations for up to 35 people ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment alone.
Duties
* Produce small breakfast menu for up to 35 guests
* Work alongside our FOH breakfast team to produce exceptional breakfasts for our hotel guests
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs.
* Take for morning deliveries ensuring they are checked off and meet requirements of our suppliers
* Help with prep where required for service
* Maintain cleanliness after service
Requirements
* Proven experience in culinary roles within the food industry.
* Strong organisational skills with experience in shift management.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
